1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect two types of information about users: personally identifiable information (“personal Information”), and non-personally identifiable information (“non-personal information”).
Personal Information: We will only use aggregated/anonymous data for product improvement we might reach out to individual users for user research to inform new features, but we’d inquire about their interest separately (and this is likely unrelated)
Email Lists and Requests for Additional Information: If you provide your email address to join one of our mailing lists or contact us to request additional information or submit comments, we will collect the information you submitted and may use it to respond to your request or inform you about program services. Email messages we send in this regard will permit you to unsubscribe from future such messages. Once you unsubscribe, we will not send you any further promotional emails unless you specifically request that we do so later. Your option not to receive promotional material will not preclude us from corresponding with you, by email or otherwise, regarding your existing or past business relationships with us (e.g., any purchase of our products or use of our services, or responses to requests for information you pose to us either through use of the Site or by other means), and will not preclude us from accessing and viewing your personal information in the course of maintaining and improving our Site, products and services.
Account Registration and Profiles: Create a username, add your email,first and last name, create a password, the school and grade(s) at which you teach are required to create an account. Our account profile allows you to provide additional optional biographical information to us such as your teaching area and social media website addresses .
Clips, Comments and other forums: If you share clips, comment on clips or participate in any other similar features such as chats, blogs or other forums through our Site, the information submitted by or to you will not be considered personal information and may be publicly available. You should be aware that comments, opinions or other information submitted via clips, comments or other forums can be read, collected or used by other users of the Site and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the information you choose to make public in this manner. For more information regarding the proper use of chats or forums please refer to our Terms of Service.
Surveys and Other Communications: We may receive personal information when you provide it to us in response to surveys and other communications.
When you visit our Site, we receive and record non-personally identifiable information from your browser. As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically. This information may include Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp and/or clickstream data.
We and our partners use software to analyze trends, administer the Site, track users’ movements around the Site, to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole, and to serve advertising on the Site or manage our advertising on other websites. 3. DO NOT TRACK REQUESTS; THIRD PARTY TRACKING
Unless your browser settings are configured to make your online activities and publicly available information about your online activities invisible to usage analytics tools, we do not presently have the capability to omit you from Site usage information we collect to the extent your browser only sends us a “do not track” message and does not otherwise screen you from tracking without any action on our part.
Third parties, other than our vendors (such as our cookie server, and Facebook and Twitter, which serve ads for us), and our advertisers, do not have authorization from us to track which websites you visited prior and after visiting our website. That said, we cannot control third party tracking and there may be some third party tracking that occurs without our knowledge or consent.
4. UPDATING AND CORRECTING INFORMATION
We encourage you to promptly update your personal information if it changes. To access and edit your personal information, visit your account at https://educlipper.net/profile/edit or contact us at email@example.com .
The profile you create on the Site will be publicly accessible unless otherwise indicated on the Site. You may elect to include or delete certain profile information and you may also delete/deactivate your account by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you believe that an unauthorized profile has been created about you, you can request for it to be deleted by contacting us at email@example.com.

Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California have the right to request from a business, with whom the California resident has an established business relationship, certain information with respect to the types of personal Information the business shares with third parties for direct marketing purposes by such third party and the identities of the third parties with whom the business has shared such information in the immediately preceding calendar year. Please note that, under the law, we are not required to respond to your request more than once in a calendar year, nor are we required to respond to any requests that are not sent to the above-designated email or mailing address.
8. OUR POLICIES REGARDING CHILDREN
Minors under the age of 18 may not use our Site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18, and no part of our Site is designed to attract anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information of a child under 18 in the United States we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction of residence, please do not submit any information to us.

We value your trust and use physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard the personal information submitted to the Site against unauthorized access. Although we make a concerted, good faith effort to maintain and improve the integrity and security or our systems, we cannot guarantee the security of information. Our systems may be subject to security incidents due to malicious attacks, human error, technical failures or other factors. If we learn of a security breach, we will attempt to notify you electronically (and you consent to receiving such notice electronically subject to applicable laws) so that you can take appropriate protective measures. Electronic notice may include sending an email to the email address you have provided us or posting a notice on our Site.
We store your information for as long as it is necessary to provide services to you and others. Personal information associated with your account will be kept until your account is deleted, unless we no longer need the data to provide you services. Please note that we may have to retain some information after your account is closed to comply with legal obligations and retention guidelines, to protect the safety and security of our community, or to administer and enforce our Terms of Service. You can, of course, delete your account at any time.
